The festival will be celebrated in Woodbridge (New Jersey) for 5 Days – starting Aug 22, 2020 to Aug 26 2020.The festival is widely celebrated by all Hindus across the world.
1947, would like to bring Lord Ganesha to Woodbridge (New Jersey) and exhibit his 14 feet idol, not only for the South Asian Community but to everyone in United States (mainstream population).
The statue will be placed on a high riser inside a tent & will be open for visitors.A designated priest would perform the daily rituals for Lord Ganesha (Prayers to the lord).
On the last day of the event: August 26 2020, we bid a humble good bye to the mighty lord (Ganesh Visarjan).
We would not immerse the big idol. Instead, we would immerse a smaller (2 ft) idol of Lord Ganesha inside a portable Drum (bucket) of water.
Lord Ganesha is departed, only to be welcomed the next year with equal excitement.
